The rebuild at Montclair Immaculate took time, but the result to that hard work was well earned. The top-seeded Lions took down 17-time champions Seton Hall Prep, 63-51, to capture the first Essex County championship in program history.

Week in and week out, the Lions play one of the tougher regular season schedules in North Jersey. Battling through adversity helped them secure this win. Senior Zion Bethea, a Hofstra commit, led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds, both game-highs.
