The season is rapidly approaching for the Thunderbolts, as they get set to face St. Peter’s Prep at Rutgers University on Saturday night. Millville lost to the Marauders at home to open the 2018 season, and will be looking for payback this weekend. The Bolts are also motivated by a heartbreaking loss to eventual sectional champion Shawnee in last year’s South Jersey Group 4 semifinals.
Millville will be young in a number of key positions this season, but the Bolts feature a pair of top seniors to lead the way. Pittsburgh recruit Solomon DeShields is a game-changer at wide receiver, while Sacred Heart commit Shamore Collins will anchor the defense at linebacker.
