With less than four seconds on the clock, Watchung Hills point guard Michael Bressler dribbled up court. Under pressure, he fired up a Hail Mary shot from half-court and beat the buzzer to give the Warriors a thrilling 54-51 win over Hunterdon Central on January 23.
After his late-game heroics, Bressler was nominated for — and won — Jersey Sports Zone’s North Jersey boys basketball game ball in Week Four. He collected 9,551 votes (43.5 percent) to win the award.
