Another summer verbal commitment as Middletown North pitcher and outfielder Tyler Ras has announced he’ll play college baseball at the University of Alabama
Middletown North pitcher and outfielder Tyler Ras has given a verbal commitment to play Division I baseball at the University of Alabama. Ras was 4-5 as a sophomore on the mound, but had a sparkling 1.46 ERA with 35 strikeouts and just 9 walks. He hit .338 with 6 doubles and 16 runs scored for the Lions. Ras has two more years of high school ball before heading to the SEC and the Crimson Tide. Tyler made the announcement via Twitter:
