The COVID-19 virus prevented JSZ from honoring the top players in New Jersey at the Prudential Center but we still have highlights videos to honor the best high school hockey players in New Jersey.
CBA goalie John Donohoe named JSZ Hockey Player of the Year
2020 was a year to remember for Christian Brothers Academy. The Colts ran the table from the beginning of the postseason to the end, scoring wins in the Gordon Cup and the Non-Public State Championship. The man at the center of it all was goaltender John Donohoe. The sophomore transfer from Pennsylvania had a .928 save percentage and made seven shutouts against the likes of Bergen Catholic, Delbarton and Don Bosco Prep. He is JSZ’s 2020 Player of the Year.
