Manalapan 3 CBA 2 – Shore Conference Tournament Quarterfinals
The Braves rallied for two runs in the seventh inning and Hunter Serrano came on in relief to get out of a bases loaded, no out jam to give his team their 20th win of the season and a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. Trailing 2-1 in the 7th, Nick DiPeitrantonio’s base hit to right scored pinch-runner Anthony Matrone to tie the game at two. Kyle Sciallo executed a perfect safety squeeze to give the Braves the go-ahead run. In the bottom of the frame, Serrano got a strikeout, a ground out to third base that had Tom Giudice fire home to get the out followed by one more strikeout to seal the win.
