Erin Simon overcame an injury in high school to become a Division I soccer starter at Syracuse and now a professional with Sky Blue Football Club.  Simon’s time at RYPT has helped her play with some of the best players in the world

Sky Blue Football Club, New Jersey’s professional women’s soccer team, has used Reach Your Potential Training to help them gain an extra edge in the rigors of the season.  For one player, coming back to RYPT was a special homecoming.  Erin Simon found herself at Elite Sports Physical Therapy in 2010 after suffering a torn ACL that caused her to miss her senior season at Red Bank Regional High School.  While rehabbing her knee, she became one of the original seven athletes who trained at RYPT.  Her hard work and determination allowed her to walk-on at Syracuse University.  Erin became a starter for the Orange and had an outstanding career starting in 66 games over her four years in New York.  Her experience of fighting for a position with no scholarship was the perfect mindset for the unlikely journey to professional soccer.  The National Women’s Soccer League has ten teams across the country with top level talent including numerous World Cup players from both the United States and other countries.  Simon was able to get an invite to Sky Blue pre-season camp and not only made the roster, but earned a spot at outside back.  Watch her story and how RYPT helped her reach the top of women’s soccer:
