Long Branch has won just five games over the past two years, but the Green Wave has shown that they can hang with some of the best teams in the Shore Conference. Coach Dan George knows this and hopes that his team can find that extra gear in the fourth quarter to push through and get back to winning football. There is a lot of talent at the skill positions starting with tight end and defensive end Kahmar Mimes. The younger brother of Oakland Raiders linebacker Shylique Calhoun has garnered Division I offers from Rutgers and Temple and should get even more interest through his senior season.
