A great game between two of the Shore Conference’s best hockey teams.  SSZ has all the highlights of Middletown North’s 6-5 win at home over Howell

Defenseman John Hallard had two goals including the go ahead goal in the 3rd period to help the Lions hold off the Rebels.  The Lions needed an empty net goal from Bobby Hampton to provide a two goal cushion.  That was critical because Ryan Damelio scored with nine seconds left to close out the scoring.  Louie Kuka had two goals for the Rebels who fell to 8-5 on the season.  Defending state champ Middletown North is now 9-1 and sweeps the regular season series with the Rebels:
