Lawrenceville 10 Allentown 9 | Mercer County Final

(1) Lawrenceville claims a fifth consecutive Mercer County Tournament Championship following a close 10-9 win over (2) Allentown. What started as a back and forth battle would eventually see Lawrenceville take a 10-5 lead with 10 minutes remaining in the second half of play. However, Allentown in the final seven minutes put up four unanswered scores to cut the lead to 10-9 with forty seconds left. Lawrenceville would hold off the Redbirds to avoid overtime as junior Kate Morey finished with three goals and two assists. Sophomore phenom Delaney Nolan ended the afternoon with four goals for Allentown.
