The Lady Lancers faced IHA for the third straight time in the state finals. Last year, SJV needed to rally from 14 points down to win a state crown, but in 2016 there was no drama at all as the Lady Lancers dominated the game from the opening tip. Kelly Campbell scored 17 of her 20 points in the first half as SJV raced out to a 20-5 lead after one quarter and 40-9 at the half. Zoe Pero scored 12 and Kimi Evans added 10 as coach Dawn Karpell’s team is now 29-1 and on a 27 game win streak. Watch the highlights and post-game reaction from Pine Belt Arena in Toms River:
