KJS United 5 Madison 2 | Halvorsen Cup Semifinal
KJS United (Kinnelon/Jefferson/Sparta) exploded for three goals in the second period to power its way to the Halvorsen Cup final. Joey Kopec finished with a pair of goals and an assist to lead the way for top-seeded United (14-3). Adam Stefancik, Braydon Sisco, and Michael Pandiscia added goals in the victory. Sam Gero netted two goals in the loss for fourth-seeded Madison (7-11). KJS United will face third-seeded Mendham for the Halvorsen Cup next Thursday.
