Bergen Catholic 13 Notre Dame 10 | Boys
Facing a 7-2 deficit at halftime, the Crusaders’ juniors led the charge, outscoring the Irish 11-3 in the second half to pick up a non-conference win. The juniors paced Bergen Catholic (8-5), with Dylan Usatine, Easton Tedesco, Trey Taromina, Jack Gonzalez, and Liam Ericksen combining for nine of the Crusaders’ 13 goals. BC, which beat Notre Dame (10-3) in last season’s Non-Public second round, got the best of the Irish once again with a tremendous second-half comeback.
