Jersey Sports Zone is taking the next step in showcasing New Jersey high school athletes.

JSZ’s daily coverage of New Jersey high school sports will culminate with a weekly, half-hour television show in the New York City/NJ market.

“Jersey Sports Zone,” presented by RWJ Barnabas Health, will air every Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. on WLNY-TV, the sister station of WCBS-TV. The first show will debut this Sunday, Feb. 20.

“New Jersey high school sports belong on television,” said Jersey Sports Zone COO Rich Chrampanis. “We’re grateful that RWJ Barnabas Health is supporting high school athletes all across the state and giving them this incredible exposure. It’s an honor to be able to share the stories and great moments captured by our cameras on television. Johnny Green – CBS New York’s president and general manager – has given us a platform to bring our incredible content at JSZ to the New York City/New Jersey television market. Our team is excited to share the stories and great highlights from across the Garden State every Sunday morning on WLNY-TV.”

The show will feature a roundup of the best games from the previous week’s action, feature stories that “go beyond the score” and a Top 10 Plays of the Week segment that spotlights the very best captured by our cameras.
