IMG Academy 15 Hun 11
It was billed as one of the must see boys lacrosse matchups of the year and it didn’t disappoint. The Hun School of Princeton came into Friday’s matchup undefeated at 8-0 behind a plethora of NCAA Division I talent including commits from: Marquette, UNC, John Hopkins and Princeton University. However, IMG Academy also brang some hitters of their own and after a tied first quarter the athletic powerhouse began to pull away to lead 9-4 at halftime. Hun would retaliated with three unanswered goals to close out the third, but IMG would continue to pile on points late in the second half to come away with the victory. JJ Levandowski (Syracuse) and Jack Burnett (John Hopkins) ended the day with hat tricks while Sean Donnelly (Syracuse) had six goals. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
