Glen Ridge ace Griffin Seibel is enjoying a breakout junior season for the Ridgers. Seibel’s best outing of the season came on April 27, where he tossed six innings and struck out 14 batters in a 2-1 win against fellow Super Essex Conference rival Belleville.
Seibel was nominated for, and won, JSZ’s Week 4 North Jersey Game Ball for that performance. He accrued over 4,000 votes for 48 percent of the vote share to win the award.
