She’s 6-foot-1 and just 14 years old. Manchester Township’s Destiny Adams made a big statement in front of a large crowd in Toms River at the WOBM Christmas Classic with a 28 point, 13 rebound performance against Toms River North in the championship game of the WOBM Christmas Classic. When she was named the Tournament MVP, Destiny immediately brought her trophy over to older sister Dakota, a junior on the Hawks who was a second team All-Tournament selection. Little sister can handle herself just fine on the court and Dakota is ready to guide her through her first season of varsity basketball. The Hawks won 21 games and a South Jersey Group 2 championship last year and with just one senior on the roster will be a force in New Jersey girls high school basketball for years to come.
