Freshman helps lead Princeton to upset win in state playoff hockey

Princeton 4 Middletown North 1 – Public “B” First Round

Freshman Colm Trainor scored a pair of goals including a critical shorthanded goal in the final seconds of the second period to break a 1-1 tie to give the #11 seed an upset win at 6th seeded Middletown North.  The Tigers advance to the Public “B” quarterfinals and will face the winner of Millburn and Ridge.  JSZ has highlights and post-game reaction from a great playoff hockey game:
