St. Joe’s (Mont.) graduated nearly 20 players from last year’s Non-Public A state championship team. The new-look Green Knights captured their biggest win of the young season Tuesday night in a conference matchup against MLB Draft prospect Nazier Mulé and Passaic Tech.

Chad Falcon was masterful for SJR in this game. He tossed a complete game shutout with six strikeouts as the Green Knights secured a 6-0 win over the Bulldogs. Falcon broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with an RBI double, while Jack Lennon went 2-3 from the plate with 2 RBI.

Mulé threw three innings and struck out five batters, while giving up three hits and three walks in his season debut on the mound.
