The Eagles trailed 1-0 in the seventh inning, but scratched a run across before going on to beat the Spartans in extra innings. Rutgers commit Justin Sweeney was outstanding on the mound, striking out eight in 8+ innings of work. Coastal Carolina commit Cam Flukey got the final five outs to earn the win for EHT (6-1). Van Patten struck out six in eight innings of work for Holy Spirit (6-3).
