Is Don Bosco Prep the hottest team in New Jersey right now?

It’s a fair question. Outside of an opening day loss to CBA, the Ironmen have now reeled off five consecutive wins (all against Gordon Conference competition) after a 2-1 takedown of Delbarton at SportsCare Arena on Tuesday.

Matt Imbriano led the way for Don Bosco with a pair of goals while goaltender Ethan Marich made 24 stops against a ferocious offensive attack from Delbarton.

The win also extended an even more impressive streak for Bosco – the Ironmen now own a nine-game unbeaten streak against the Green Wave, dating all the way back to Nov. 24, 2018. Bosco is 8-0-1 in that stretch, with the lone tie coming in a 3-3 finish on Jan. 14, 2020.
