Hillside Westfield

Hillside (1-1) picked up their first win of the season following a close 13-6 overtime victory over Westfield (0-1). Aaliyah Wooten scored the first touchdown for Hillside midway through the first half to give The Comets a 6-0 lead at the break. Early in the second half Mia Saco was able to take a broken pass for a long touchdown to tie the game at 6-6 for Westfield. The game would remain knotted and in overtime a touchdown run and extra point conversion from senior Divine Clark gave Hillside the eventual game-winning score.
