Clash Between Delbarton, CBA Ends in Tie

It’s not the finish either team hoped for, but the final score from this early season Gordon Conference showdown tells us all we need to know about the state of New Jersey hockey this season.

CBA (1-0-2) and Delbarton (3-0-1) have proven to be the best teams in the early portion of the 2021-2022 season and the first meeting between these two powerhouse programs ended in a 2-2 tie on Tuesday.

Defenseman Patrick Reilly scored a pair of powerplay goals that pushed the Colts out to a 2-0 lead before the Pendy brothers, Trip and Max, respectively scored consecutive goals to tie in the game in the second period.
