Red Bank Catholic wins the Non-Public South “A” championship with a 64-48 win over Paul VI at Jackson Liberty High School.  SSZ has highlights and post-game reaction from the victorious Caseys

Rose Caverly scored 22 points as the Caseys claimed its first sectional championship since 2013.  RBC jumped out to an early 11-4 lead and never surrendered the advantage.  Josie Larkins scored 14 points and Katie Rice added 13, including seven points in the fourth quarter.  Paul VI would get within six in the 4th quarter, but the Caseys got key baskets from Rice and Hayley Moore and were able to make free throws down the stretch.  Watch the highlights of the Caseys championship win along with post-game reaction from Jackson Liberty High School:

There are three girls basketball teams from the Shore Conference in contention for a state championship.  Manasquan and Manchester play in the Group 2 state semifinals, while RBC plays on Saturday in the Non-Public “A” state championship against the winner of Wednesday’s game between Rutgers Prep and Patrick School.
