Ryan Carr’s goal in the final minute of the second period proved to be the game winner as the Panthers held off the Mustangs to advance in the opening round of the Public “B” state playoffs. Carr scored 1:04 into the game to get the Panthers on the board. Another early goal came from Thomas Colorio just :54 into the second period. Brick Memorial got goals from Matt McDermitt and Logan Viducic, but it was Carr’s goal late in the second that gets the Panthers through to the second round a matchup at Indian Hills on Friday.
