Rutgers’ 2020 recruiting class was filled with some of the Garden State’s best players. Now the Scarlet Knights have landed their first commitment in the class of 2021. Camden athlete Alijah Clark made a verbal commitment to Rutgers, announcing the news on his Twitter account. Clark reeled in five touchdown catches for the Panthers last fall, before an injury at quarterback changed The High’s offensive focus to the running game. Clark also finished with a pair of rushing touchdowns and five interceptions for The High in 2019, leading Camden to the Central Jersey Group 2 final.
