It’s Monday night ice on Jersey Sports Zone as we bring you a pair of games. Don Bosco Prep continues to look sharp early in the season plus we pay a visit to the Red Bank Armory where Rumson-Fair Haven scored its second straight win in dominant fashion.

Don Bosco 3 Delbarton 1

Hockey fans were treated to a possible playoff matchup in Wanye on Monday night. Don Bosco handed Delbarton their second loss of the season to improve to 3-0. Junior Connor Sedlak’s pass to Brendan Flaterhy late in the first period gave the Ironmen a 1-0 lead, Sedlak added scores in the second and third period. Delbarton goalie Brett Cleaves finished with 20 saves while Bosco’s Ethan Marich had 23. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Rumson-Fair Haven 7 Westfield 1

Sam Catalano scored two goals and the Bulldogs used a balanced attack to roll to a 2-0 start. RFH raced out to a 3-0 lead and pulled away early in the third period with three more goals.
