The Bernards Mountaineers have had seven consecutive winning seasons achieving 7 wins or more each year. However, this season the Mountaineers are facing a new challenge. Youth. This year’s team only has three returning starters and five returning varsity seniors. Though this season will be a challenge, the Mountaineers aim to obtain that 8th winning season behind the leadership of Cubby Schuller, who will continue his football career at a Division One school after graduation this spring.
