4-Star Outside Linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste’s college decision came down to the wire, and in the end the No. 16 ranked OLB in America chose to head north to Columbus, Ohio and play for Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jean-Baptiste chose Ohio State over fellow Big-10 foe Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M.
Before Javontae’s senior season at Bergen Catholic, he told JSZ he wanted to “win a championship and become of the best outside linebackers in the country.” Those wishes rang true, as Jean-Baptiste’s career was capped off by a Bergen Catholic State Championship victory at MetLife Stadium, and now a commitment to The Ohio State University on National Signing Day. Watch Highlights from Javontae’s senior season below.
