Alexandra Balsamo drained a three-pointer at the buzzer and scored her 1000th career point earlier in the game to give the Eagles a win over their crosstown rival.  Middletown North trailed 51-33 midway through the third quarter before staging a remarkable comeback.  Hailee Hallard led the Lions with 21 points and Kamani Williams scored 13.  Williams tied the game at 58 with a layup in the paint and Hallard stole the ball from Haley Dalonzo giving the Lions a chance to go for the win with 14.7 seconds to go.  A missed shot by Williams was hauled down by Dalonzo, who pushed the ball upcourt.  Isla Brennan fed the ball cross court to Balsamo who took a deep three-pointer to win the game.  Balsamo had 18 points and Dalonzo scored 17 points along with 12 rebounds.  Watch highlights of a great game from Thursday night in Middletown:
