The Montgomery Cougars accomplished a major feat last Friday night when they downed longtime rival Hunterdon Central to improve to 2-2 on the season. QB Alex Benitez was a major part of that win.
Benitez completed 42 of 54 passes for 259 yards and two touchdown passes. He also collected a 34-yard touchdown, as well as a two-point conversion, an extra point and a field goal in the win.
