No one in New Jersey has been adding up the goals quite like Addison Halpern.
After leading the state with 51 goals scored as a sophomore, the Rutgers Prep forward began her junior campaign with some ridiculous fireworks.
Halpern scored four goals in a 5-0 opening day win over Pingry. The fourth of those goals was the 100th goal of her career. While most players dream of hitting the century mark by the time they graduate – Halpern did it on the first day of her junior season.
She’s averaging 48 goals per season and is square on pace to challenge the New Jersey state record set by Laura Kerrigan back in the early 1980s, but is more focused on being a leader for a state championship-caliber team.
