Elizabeth 1 Scotch Plains-Fanwood 0 (OT) | Boys

No. 12 Elizabeth (3-0) remains unbeaten on the year with a 1-0 double overtime victory over Union County Conference Watchung Division rival Scotch Plains-Fanwood (2-1). The game’s only score would come in extra time as Justin Cedeno found fellow senior Jeanpierre Intriago for a long distance golden goal.

West Deptford 3 Haddonfield 2 | Boys

The Eagles snapped a three-game losing streak against the rival Bulldogs to remain undefeated to open the season. Caleb Delaney, Chase Struzynski, and Nick Hartman all scored in the victory. Mason Quinton had a pair of assists for West Deptford (2-0). Jack Walters netted a goal in the loss for Haddonfield (1-2).

Marlboro 2 St. John Vianney 1 (OT) | Girls | Shore Conference

Bella Huttner’s goal in the 93rd minute gave the Mustangs a third straight win to open the season.  SJV took a 1-0 lead on Madison Lieopch penalty kick before sophomore Samantha Arntz leveled the match with 14:48 to go.
