Don Bosco Prep 23 St. Joe’s (Mont.) 10 | Super Football Conference

The Ironmen defense produced four turnovers highlighted by a Joaquin Phillips 13-yard pick six and Isaiah Alvarez had a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to help the Ironmen (5-0) avenge last year’s state championship loss at MetLife to the Green Knights. St. Joe’s (2-3) took a 7-0 lead on Andrew Wilson’s 3-yard TD run before Alvarez responded with his kickofff return TD. Ca’Si Thomas scored from 2-yards out in the second half for Don Bosco’s only offensive touchdown of the game.

Paramus Catholic 22 Hun 18 | Non-Conference

Paramus Catholic (2-3) entered its matchup with Hun (4-2) riding a three-game losing streak, but the Paladins saved their best for the fourth quarter. Down 16-7 entering the final frame, Paramus Catholic mounted a furious comeback against the national power. Walker Snee found Feury Diaz-Rinaldi for a 35-yard touchdown, and on Hun’s ensuing possession, AJ Lopez flipped the game with a 55-yard pick-six. The interception return put the Paladins in front for good, capping a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback and ending their three-game skid.

West Orange 34 East Orange 13 | Super Football Conference

No. 18 West Orange (4-1) has been on a roll since dropping their Week 0 game against Ramapo. The Mountaineers won their fourth straight on Friday night with a 34-13 victory over arch rivals East Orange (2-2). The story of the game was the Mountaineers’ first half, outscoring the Jaguars 27-6. In the first two quarters, senior QB Daniel Lewis threw two touchdown passes to WR Evian Mishoe and Rutgers commit TE Sydney Padilla. Along with his touchdown reception, Padilla forced a fumble in the 2nd quarter that resulted in a 35-yard scoop-and-score by AJ Chitty. Lewis added a rushing touchdown in the 4th to cap off his night.

St. Joe’s (Mont.) transfer Dy-Shawn Simpkins also had a rushing touchdown for the Mountaineers in his debut with the team. The scorers for the Jaguars were WR Je’zi Lewis and RB Sean Smith.

Old Tappan 42 Wayne Hills 35 | Super Football Conference

Zach Miceli threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns via the air to go along with 147 rushing yards and two more scores to give the Golden Knights (5-0) a shootout win. Leo Etter had two touchdown catches, highlighted by a 70-yard catch in the third quarter to put Old Tappan ahead 35-28. Ethan Zacharski had four touchdowns for Wayne Hills (4-1) highlighted by a 98 yard kickoff return for a score.

West Deptford 28 Haddonfield 0 | West Jersey Football League

The Eagles used a complete effort on both sides of the football to score its first win against the rival Bulldawgs since 2019 and stay unbeaten on the season. Zamir Davis rushed for a pair of touchdowns to lead the way in the victory. Cole Paskiewicz added a touchdown and had an interception as part of a stout defensive effort from West Deptford (5-0). Haddonfield held a six-game winning streak in this rivalry, and fell to (4-1) with the loss.

Ocean City 27 Mainland 21 | West Jersey Football League

After falling to the rival Mustangs in a playoff game last year, the Red Raiders got their revenge. Jackson Becker rushed for a touchdown and threw for two more in the win for OC (4-1). Michael Marczyk and Columb Higgins each had TD catches in the win, while Cole Garreffi had a touchdown run and added an interception on defense. Crew Russo and Ryder Watson scored touchdowns for Mainland (1-4) in the loss.

Donovan Catholic 35 Southern 0 | Shore Conference

Kahden Davis threw three touchdown passes to race the Griffins to a 21-0 lead as DC is 5-0 to win the battle of Ocean County unbeatens. Alex Staten ran for 188 yards and a touchdown and Nyron Snerling had a 42-yard pick six.
