Toms River East 2 Shawnee 1 (9 innings) | South Jersey Group 3 Quarterfinal
Lucas Melton saved his best for last to help the Raiders rally and keep their season alive. The Barry commit had a triple in the seventh to set up the game-tying bunt from Chase Caswell, then delivered the walk-off RBI single in the ninth to bring home the victory. Jonathan Pallman tossed four strong innings out of the bullpen, while Liam Scallon tossed five shutout innings for third-seeded Toms River East (17-10). Delaware commit Tim Dougherty allowed one run over eight innings while racking up 15 strikeouts for sixth-seeded Shawnee (16-10). Toms River East advances to the sectional semifinals, where they will face Mainland next Wednesday.

Mainland 8 Cherry Hill West 1 | South Jersey Group 3 Quarterfinal
Dom Deluca tossed 6.2 innings and did not allow an earned run for the fourth consecutive appearance. Cole Stefano robbed a home run and drove in two runs in the opening frame. Seventh-seeded Mainland (17-8) broke the game open with a six-run seventh inning to secure the win. James Miller struck out eight over 6.1 innings for second-seeded Cherry Hill West (20-6). The Mustangs advance to their first sectional semifinal since 2023 and will travel to face third-seeded Toms River East.
