Hun 11 Seton Hall Prep 1 (5 Innings)
North Carolina commit Kerrick Shannon was lights out on the mound for Hun (17-3), pitching 4.2 innings, allowing just one run, and striking out seven. The future Tar Heel was dealing against Seton Hall Prep (15-4), and had stellar defense behind him throughout the game. Future Pitt Panther Jackson Staples led the way at the plate with a game-high three RBIs.

Point Pleasant Beach 12 Point Pleasant Boro 9
Freshman Mason Sesny hit a towering three-run homer onto Chicago Avenue or his first high school long ball to spark a seven run 6th inning and Carson Pfeifer made a 5-3 double play to end a valiant comeback attempt by the Panthers in the 7th. Dan Lubach blasted a two-run homer in the first inning and Tom Slobiski added a two run double to put the Garnet Gulls in front 4-0 early. Trailin 5-1 in the sixth, Point Boro rallied for three runs including two coming home an error to get within 5-4 before Sesny started the big inning for Point Beach. Point Boro got a Jake Clayton RBI single after three bases loaded walks to get within striking distance before the game ending double play.
