Ridgewood 31 West Orange 14
No. 1 Ridgewood flag football continues their rain at the top of New Jersey flag football as the Maroons defeated 9-0 No. 5 West Orange 31-14 on Friday for their 33rd straight victory! Ridgewood quarterback Penelope Pace went 16/27 for 111 pass yards and three touchdown passes, 105 yards on the ground. Gabby Winn, a Clemson soccer commit, led the team in scoring with two touchdown receptions and a fourth quarter touchdown pass to Danielle DeNoy. Logan Mikita also had herself a day with a receiving TD and a pick-six to start the scoring early in the first quarter. Besides Mikita, the Maroons defense had three other INTs on the day: two by Leighton Schoenherr and one of Chloe McLellan.
