The second-ranked Griffins were tested all day long by the eighteenth-ranked Caseys, but found a way in extra innings to remain perfect on the season. Mia Kelliher played the hero with a walk-off RBI single in the victory. Two freshman stepped up in big spots for the Griffins as Kourtney Murphy tied things up in the eighth, while Riley Laing had a clutch RBI single to tie the game in the sixth. Auburn commit Bella Maria had a RBI triple for Donovan Catholic (19-0). Penn State commit Grace Lombardi and Mackenna Savage homered, while Gabrielle Rodriguez gave RBC (10-8) the lead in extra innings.
