The second-ranked Griffins celebrated Senior Day in style by belting three home runs in the fifth to knock off the Rams and stay perfect on the season. Sisters Maddie and Mia Kelliher hit back-to-back home runs, while Caroline Kopp hit a two-run home run to seal the victory. Dartmouth commit Gylian Hixenbaugh tossed a one-hitter with seven strikeouts for Donovan Catholic (16-0). Southern fell to 7-6 on the season.
Donovan Catholic has had plenty to celebrate over the last few days, as head coach Debbie Schwartz became the second coach in state history to eclipse 800 career wins on Saturday, and is now up to 804 wins and counting after Wednesday.

Ellie Miller delivered a dominant performance, tossing her seventh complete-game shutout of the season while striking out a career-high 15 batters. Following wins over Mount St. Dominic and Watchung Hills, Steinert (11-3) has now won five straight, capped by a convincing victory over GCIT (8-7).
