After leading by four runs heading into the final frame, Lawrenceville (2-8) made a late push with a three-run rally, but the Hornets shut down the comeback attempt. Daniel Vergara allowed no earned runs over three innings on the mound and set a new career high with three RBIs. Seven of the nine batters for Hamilton West (8-2) recorded base hits.
