Wall 5 Ocean 3 | Shore Conference

James Byrnes had two goals and two assists to lead Wall to an upset win over the Spartans.  Wall (5-11-1) was able to outshoot the Spartans 47-26.  Mikey Hoarle had his 25th goal of the season to tie the game 1-1.  In the second, Byrnes and fellow senior Luke Lozano scored a pair of beauties to give Wall a 3-1 lead heading into the third.  Kyle Katz scored the first of his two goals to make it a 3-2 game, but Byrnes and Evan Penn scored back to back goal to seal the win.  Liam Forster was the other goal scorer for Ocean.  The Spartans (11-4-1) have suffered back to back losses but are still in line for a high seed with the state playoffs around the corner.
