Hillsborough’s Sarah Davenport continues to put up astonishing numbers. We were there earlier in the season when the pitcher reached 700 career strikeouts, now just a few weeks later Davenport becomes the 21st pitcher in New Jersey softball history to eclipse 1,000 career K’s. An accomplishment she reaches in just three years after losing her freshman season to the Covid-19 pandemic.
