Don Bosco Prep 9 Bergen Catholic 3 | Bergen County Tournament Final
Nick Locurto hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and finished with three hits and 10 overall for the tournament to gain MVP honors to give the Ironmen its first Bergen County title since 2015. Locurto’s blast to left gave Don Bosco a 7-2 lead and the Ironmen added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Luca Reyes hit his second straight homer in a losing effort for the Crusaders. Both teams now turn their attention to the state playoffs.
