After missing an entire year in 2020, New Jersey high school girls lacrosse made up for lost time with a memorable season. With 8 Under Armour All-Americans from our state, the level of play was off the charts! We continue our summer recap series with a look at the top 10 girls lacrosse games captured by JSZ cameras.


New Jersey girls lacrosse has a national reputation with good reason. We saw some incredible games and some of the best high school teams in the country show their stuff in the spring. JSZ looks back on the top 10 games from the 2021 season:

#10 Cherokee wins state title

With a 21-2 season, Cherokee more than earned its 2021 Group 4 state championship. JSZ’s James Mooney has the highlights of the Chiefs 9-4 win over Westfield


#9 Allentown rallies to stay perfect

The Redbirds trailed 5-3 at the half but were able to rally in the second half scoring four goals on the way to a 7-6 win over Notre Dame. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez was there for Mercer County’s top two teams


#8 Rumson’s Revenge: RFH wins 8th straight SCT

After losing their Shore Conference regular-season win streak (see #1), RFH got their revenge against Trinity Hall to win their 8th consecutive Shore Conference Tourney title. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the action from Monmouth University


#7 Ridgewood continues Bergen County dominance

Ridgewood scored two second-half goals to break a 3-3 halftime tie and top IHA 5-3 and win its remarkable 16th straight Bergen County title. JSZ’s Jay Cook had the highlights


#6 Old Bridge win GMC in OT

In driving rain, Ella Sblano’s overtime goal gave Old Bridge a 5-4 win over Monroe and the GMC championship. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez had the action from a thrilling title game


#5 Chatham shocks T of C champ

Early in the 2021 season, Chatham sent shock waves through New Jersey with an 8-7 upset of Oak Knoll behind Sophie Straka’s five-point effort. It was the only loss of the year for the national power


#4 RFH upsets Summit to win state crown

Chase Boyle and Mia James combine for 10 goals to give Rumson-Fair Haven the second girls lax state title in state history. JSZ’s Jay Cook recaps RFH’s 14-13 win over Summit


#3 Oak Knoll wins T of C for second straight time

The Royals won their 20th straight game with a 10-9 win over Moorestown led by Richmond Spider Colleen Quinn. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez had the highlights from the final game of the 2021 season


#2 Blake’s OT goal gives Haddonfield South Jersey bragging rights

McKenzie Blake’s 5th goal of the game was one of the biggest of the 2021 season. JSZ’s Mike Frankel was there for Haddonfield’s 10-9 overtime win against Moorestown


#1 Trinity Hall ends RFH’s Shore Conference streak

Rumson-Fair Haven won 127 straight Shore Conference games until Peyton McGuire’s 4th goal of the game gave Trinity Hall an 8-7 win over the Bulldogs to end the nine year reign.
