First round of the North Section 2, Group 4 FH State Tournament and we have the 11th seed, the Watchung Hills Warriors, at the Hillsborough Raiders. Hillsborough landing the 6th seed this year. The game was an outstanding defensive battle by both teams right down to the last minute in OT where Watching Hills gets a corner after a Hillsborough obstruction. #21 Kaitlyn Gully would score the game winner on that very corner! The Watching Hills Warriors upset the Hillsborough Raiders 2-1 in OT. Great performance by both goalies, Sarah Bruno with 13 saves and Macy Brandwein with 14. Of course the stars today Beecher and Gully of Watchung. I spoke with both girls in post-game:
