Rumson-Fair Haven guard Tori Hyduke emerged as one of the state’s top guards in her junior season. After a tremendous post-season and strong summer AAU play, Hyduke has given a verbal commitment to play Division I basketball in the Atlantic 10 at George Washington University:

Hyduke closed out her junior year with three signature games. In a Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal loss to eventual champion Saint Rose, Hyduke scored all 14 of RFH’s points in the first quarter and finished the game with 27 points. Then came back to back sensational performances in the state playoffs. She dropped 30 points in the Bulldogs sectional semifinal win against New Providence and followed that with a career high 38 points against four time state champ Manasquan on the road. Hyduke averaged 16 points and just under 6 assists a night for an RFH team 22-7 season. Coach Dave Callahan calls Tori an amazing kid who has the heart of a lion.
