Zach Ruppert scored twice as the Caseys built a 4-0 first period lead on the way to an opening day victory at the Red Bank Armory. Fellow freshmen Nick Reed and Tyler Waldron also found the net for the Caseys. Robert Goehring and sophomore Alex Gonzalez were the other RBC goal scorers. Down 4-0 at the end of one, the Bucs played a solid second period with a pair of goals by Frank Taddeo including a wrap around with just 4.6 seconds left in the period. RBR goalie Mitchell Quin had 36 saves in a losing effort. Watch the highlights from Saturday afternoon:
