Winslow Township 14 Brick Memorial 12 | Group 4 State Semifinal

The Eagles nearly saw a 14-point halftime lead disappear in the second half, but rallied on defense to fend off a late charge from the Mustangs. Julian Peterson intercepted a potential game-tying two point try, then sealed the deal with an interception with just over a minute to go in regulation. Jalen Parker threw for a pair of touchdowns, and tied NJ’s career passing TD record (105) in the victory for defending champion Winslow Township (11-2). Jason Lajara went for two touchdowns through the air in the loss for Brick Memorial (10-3). Winslow now looks to bring home a second-straight Group 4 state title, and will face Ramapo on Sunday, November 30th at Rutgers University.
