After 80 minutes of play, Immaculate Heart and DePaul were scoreless. The match would stay tied into double overtime where Ava Wilson gathered a tremendous pass from freshman Allie Zitelli and broke through with a golden goal . The goal came with just 42 seconds remaining in double OT, and gave Immaculate Heart Academy a 1-0 win, their first of 2017, while handing DePaul Catholic it’s first loss.
