North Carolina State commit Demie Sumo caught a touchdown pass, intercepted a pass, and rushed for the go-ahead TD late in the fourth quarter to lead the Chimeras past the Chargers on the road. Nasir Abney also had a big night, rushing for over 100 yards in the win. Donovan Leary rushed for a score and Marcus Miller recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown for Timber Creek in the loss.
